Spam trigger words

Spam trigger words are terms and phrases, often pushy or salesy, that spam filters weight negatively. On their own they rarely doom an email, but combined with weak reputation and generic copy they raise the odds of landing in spam.

Context over word lists

Modern filters weigh sender reputation, engagement, and links far more than any single word. Chasing a banned-word list is less useful than sending relevant mail people open.

The overlap with quality

Words that trigger filters are usually the same generic, hype phrases that make cold email easy to ignore. Writing specifically helps twice.
