Sending domain
A sending domain is the domain your cold email is sent from. Many teams send from a separate, similar domain rather than their primary one, so that any deliverability damage from cold outreach does not affect their main business email.
Why a secondary domain
Isolating cold sending protects the primary domain's reputation. If the secondary domain gets flagged, core business email keeps working.
Set it up right
A sending domain needs its own authentication and warmup before campaigns. Skipping those steps is a common cause of early spam placement.
